Chuyskiy Trakt, Russia

After a long wait at the Russian site it was time to start driving the 1100 km planed for the next few days. Had an limit of 5 days to do it as my visa was valid for 5 days. the mountain road lived up to its reputation. it was very scenic, mostly perfect tarmac. Unfortunately no high mountain passes. But there where good views of mountain toped with snow all over the Altai.

After some sightseeing in the mountains made good time and crossed into Kazakhstan a day early, time for a day rest in Semey. An city know for it proximity to the polygon, the soviet nuclear test site. more to come
